Matchmaker, Matchmaker, dotcom my match!

Earlier this afternoon a conversation with my mother stemmed this topic… the topic of the dot com relationships. (her life is FULL of them) So I decided to try my hand at making a Match.com profile. Yeah, if you search it I’m on there. LOL. Anyways, in it they have like what seems like a TON of questions they ask you. One of them is a freehand, freestyle “describe yourself” and then there’s the “describe your match”. I got to thinking… these dotcom things are making searching for the right person for you, more like choosing a car! (no jokes about test driving things before purchase… lol)

As far as those questions go, I hate trying to describe myself cause it never comes out like you want it to. Here’s what I got: I like to think of myself as a fun girl, always making people laugh (although most of the time it is at me…). Most anytime I can get out of the house I take it, although it is always nice to be a homebody and just relax around the house. I love playing sports (baseball!) and try to work out pretty often. I like to think of myself as being dependable, and a lot of people have taken that for granted. Regardless, I will always be there for someone if I am needed. I live on helping others, which is part of why I am a firefighter. If I think things can work out, I’m willing to give it a chance… so what you got? The only thing i can say is that this is for fun so give it a shot.

So who is my match? Hell, I don’t know! (Because if I did, would I be making this?) I want someone who is REAL. Who is going to like me for me. Someone who laughs (both at and with) me about the stupid southpark things I say. Someone who is fun, outgoing, easy to get along with, and has a good sense of humor… you know all the stuff you usually hear. Someone who if things worked out, wouldn’t mind having those lazy days around the house, but also wouldn’t mind going out to the beach or what not. Having some in common is a plus, but it’s always nice to have your own time and friends and whatnot. And if ya don’t have that time apart and those separate interests, well that’s what drives apart most relationships nowadays. So… I'm looking to meet some new people and if something comes about then cool. I guess you never know where you’ll find someone special.

Soooo… that’s my blog for today. Let me know if you’re interested in being my dotcom match! Hahaha ;--)
